Waterfront32nd British International Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in June 2010
Call for Abstracts

                                            ABSTRACT SUBMISSION IS NOW CLOSED

Poster display format
All posters at the Congress will be displayed in an innovative electronic poster gallery. Posters will be viewed on computers within a dedicated poster display zone in the Exhibition Hall. Authors will be encouraged to be available in the area to discuss their posters and interact with delegates interested in their work.

During the lunch breaks the authors of the top scoring posters will be invited to give a brief presentation on their poster in a purpose built presentation area within the Exhibition Hall. This will encourage further interaction between authors and delegates.

Please note posters will not be displayed as hard copies and poster boards will not be provided.

Poster authors will be required to pay a nominal poster handling fee of £35 + VAT (£41.13), payable once the poster has been accepted for presentation. By adopting this method of electronic poster presentation it is anticipated that authors will:

• Save money spent on producing a hard copy poster

• Be eco friendly. The RCOG supports the Climate and Health Council and encourages health professionals to be pro
  active in this important issue

• Avoid airline charges for carrying a poster tube as hand luggage. Several airlines which fly to Belfast have recently
  adopted this policy

Notification of accepted abstracts
Authors will be informed of the decision of the Scientific Committee by the end of March 2010. If your submission was successful you will be given full details at this stage. Please note that all accepted abstract presenters must register and pay the appropriate registration fee to attend the Congress.
